Prepacked Displays:
Financially approved by cross-functional executive leadership.
Have their own customer order UPC.
National - Available for ordering to all customers.
Customer Specific - Displays developed to customer specifications.
Are sold in at the corporate level.
Developed and updated per customer feedback.
Program development and publication timing aligned to Integrated Commercial Planning (ICP) planning cycles.
Everyday displays consist of National and Customer Specific programs.
These programs are displays that ship with product in a single case or pallet under one customer UPC. Programs are typically sold on the corporate level.
National programs are available to all customers. They can have windowed availability or be offered year-round.
For smaller customers programs are accessible through 3rd party distributors (ie McLane, UNFI, AWG etc).
Customer Specific programs are developed for a specific retail customer and conform to their specified product mix, delivery and volumes.
Both categories of displays support base business, new items, line extensions and can include promo overlays.
Historically, in the CPG organizations I’ve worked within - I’ve observed that Everyday Displays are typically 10% of total business sales.
